Wisconsin Connections to the American Revolution

When considering the American Revolutionary War, most people do not think of the distant portion of the British Province of Quebec that would one day become Wisconsin. However, 42 veterans of the war are buried within the state's modern border. The descendants of these and others who fought in our nation's first war have continued their legacies of service throughout the state of Wisconsin.

This virtual exhibit explores various Revolutionary War veterans, their descendants and links to Wisconsin. Learn more.
